1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. Cookies let a site remember your actions and preferences between pages and visits. We also use related technologies such as browser local storage, which works in a similar way but keeps the data in your browser rather than sending it back to our server with each request.
This policy sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more generally.
2. How we use them
We use cookies to keep you signed in, to protect forms against cross-site request forgery, to remember your interface preferences, and — where you have consented — to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not sell the data they generate.
3. Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the service to work. They cannot be switched off through our consent banner, because without them you could not sign in or submit a form. They are set by us as first-party cookies.
- eaicontentstudio_session — identifies your browser session so that you stay signed in and your language and flash messages persist as you move between pages. The exact name is derived from the application name. Expires after 120 minutes of inactivity.
- referer_session_id — a random identifier set on your first visit so that the referring website of that visit is recorded only once. Expires after about 139 days.
- XSRF-TOKEN — carries a per-session token that lets us verify that a form submission genuinely came from you, protecting against cross-site request forgery. Expires with the session.
- remember_web_… — set only if you tick "remember me" at sign-in, so you do not have to log in again on your next visit. Expires after five years, or when you sign out.
- eaicontent_gdpr — records that you have acknowledged our cookie notice, so the banner is not shown again. Expires after 365 days.
4. Functional storage
These remember interface choices you make. They are stored in your browser's local storage rather than as cookies, and are never transmitted to us.
- tablerTheme — remembers whether you chose the light or dark appearance. Persists until you clear your browser storage.
- lqd-navbar-shrinked — remembers whether you collapsed the dashboard sidebar. Persists until you clear your browser storage.
5. Analytics cookies
We measure site usage with Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data such as names or email addresses. It records aggregated information such as page views, referring sites, browser type and country, which helps us see which pages are useful. No analytics cookies are set.
6. Third-party cookies
Some cookies are set by services we embed rather than by us. These may include payment providers during checkout, bot-protection services such as reCAPTCHA or Cloudflare Turnstile on our sign-in and registration forms, and identity providers if you use social sign-in. These cookies are governed by the privacy policies of those providers, and we have no access to or control over them.
7. Managing cookies
- Consent banner — where it is shown, you can use it to record your choice about non-essential cookies. To be asked again, delete the eaicontent_gdpr cookie from your browser.
- Browser settings — every major browser lets you view, block or delete cookies, usually under Settings, then Privacy and security. Blocking all cookies will stop you signing in and using the service.
- Local storage — clearing site data in your browser will also reset the functional preferences listed in section 4.
